I laughed because I was running around trying to get my ap to Skowhegan today, I wasnt going to apply until I read your post last week about it. I have yet to see it but, Elizabeth Subrin showed the photo grads a documentary made by a bunch of Portland hipsters called "The Unconscious Art of Graffiti Removal"
The last time I was in New Orleans (2002) the city had done a city-wide clean sweep to cover the graffiti. The entire city was covered in the most beautiful shades of gray, red, and yellow- all blocky, and nice.
I would have to say that the blue spot in the center of each image is from someone sitting on your camera phone. Turn the phone off for a while and try again.
what is that blue glow in the center of each picture? something from my camera phone?
