cooky! - yes, they are a bit isa genzken, but i wouldn't say "bad knockoff of.." at all. how about "good takeoff on..", or "nice similarities to..", or something like that? i think of white as more of a painter, and genzken as a sculptor.
there was an 80-something year old artist i used to know in philadelphia - mildred elfman greenberg - that i am wanting to post now.
thank you for posting me, martin. i always get the isa genzken thing. it's cool because i love her work; weird because i'd never heard of her until i started working at zwirner. when i first saw her images i was in awe. i was working this way for several years. you know she's representing germany at the venice biennale! awesome!

Some of her work is appealing,other work ooks amateurish and shallow-candy in mud??
