It isn't lame. It looks like you slid down a rope (I did the same thing years ago and both of my hands looked like Olive Loaf) or you placed your hand on something very hot. Or perhaps it is poison ivy. I hope you get donations. We lived off credit cards all summer, more or less, so we are broke right now.
