My best three most wonderful art shows/encounters/experiences of the year.

Robert Janz... Mountain Mode... I noticed him working on the street, and then talked with him... later I looked him up and saw more.

Yohji Haijima, at Art + Eat... another chance encounter, a second artist in his eighties... we were just looking for a place to sit and have something to eat between galleries.. but it turned out to be the reception for the best show I saw in two months in Tokyo.
