Who is the guy with the Murphy's stout can and the camo pants? (same guy in both photos?)
I am Travis' Aunt Sandie. I just returned to Ohio from the service that took place this morning. It was such a great tribute to Travis that so many people were able to attend his memorial and share with the family how Travis had touched their lives. He was a very talented and special young man and will be deeply missed by everyone. Thank you all for sharing your memories with us.

ReplyDeleteHello all,
ReplyDeleteI just learned about Travis's life and work from another board. I am sorry that I will never get a chance to meet him.
I have a question that I hope isn't to cras - how did he die? Besides age, his life seems close to that of my own.
today is june 12th. today is the first day i've heard of travis's death. i thought today was just like any other day. i woke up with the day off and no plans. i ended up at a breakfast place here in san francisco just thinking i was going to eat a yummy breakfast burrito. i ran into suzanne, who i met through travis the last time i saw him. two years ago. i asked her how he was...i was floored with her answer. travis and i were good friends for many years. still don't understand how we were apart for so long. i've been kicking myself all day for our little mis-understanding that pulled us apart. i loved him dearly and can't imagine the pain he was going through to take his own life. actually i can, we had a special relationship. i always thought we would meet agian. maybe on the other side. i love you travis. i would be honored to be friends in the next life. i'm sorry i'm too late to patch things up. forgive me. i tip my forty darlin. i can still hear your voice.
ReplyDeletei'm loving you still from this side of the moon.
