This show is closed but it is the first of a series of four shows focused on 7o's work, American Responses, organized by Ned Smyth. Ned Smyth has the current show and is followed by Dickie Landry and Tina Girouard.

All the work is unstretched fabric... sewn together, cut-outs, painted, backed with other pieces of fabric, pinned to the wall.

I recently went to a talk at L.A. Louver during which P&D was bandied about, although, Tom Wudl whose work from the 70s was the focus of attention claimed to have no particular interest or part of P&D.

oh thanks for reminding me of him... i saw a couple pieces he had in a show at ronald feldman a few years ago.
