mysterious process

Tyler on a Diebenkorn show -

"I'd been looking forward to reviewing the San Jose presentation of show. But when no one at that museum returned three weeks worth of calls/emails, I gave up".

What does that mean? Is there some process involved other than (1) seeing the show, followed by (2) blogging your thoughts?

He saw the show, right? It was number one on his 2007 top ten list. Maybe it has something to do with getting images...

Artist's No-BS Market Report

Hey artists, let's do an unscientific no-bullshit survey on the artfair market. Just be anonymous, NO NEED to be strategic or to protect/promote a position.

Tell us how many pieces you had in Miami this year, and how many (if any) sold. Please try to be relatively specific, while retaining your anonymity. For example, "I had X number of pieces, at X number of galleries, at X number of fairs - X number of pieces sold", plus any other relevant information you feel comfortable sharing.

If nobody comments I'll probably delete this post with the new year.

- is the Hoosick Rocks auction? (no info on the website).
- is the Buchel vs. Mass Moca trial? - and where, i have to know where. I am going to bring some colored pencils to sketch the proceedings. Is this really a jury trial? Wow.
