Some images from Timothy Michael Martin's new space in Knoxville! The Basement Gallery!!!!
Two paintings by me, four pieces by D. Dominick Lombardi, two pieces by Emily Hall. Nice shiny blue floor!! That is very Mike Martin!
D. and Emily. Don't know who is on that far wall, on the left.

Very nice to see the space, Martin. thanks.
that looks like a cute painting (i like).
How does conception of kitsch factor into work like that, if at all?
cooky - thanks, cute is good. i often think about cute, although not so much with those two pieces and you are the first to use cute to describe them.
kitsch is not a conscious factor. i mean, i see how it is sometimes there, but i'm not working ironically.
(i really like friedrich and grandma moses, among others, not in an ironic way)
