i just found out that cady noland's father is kenneth noland.

A painting by Kenneth Noland is on the cover of a Lee Konitz album, Alone Together. He is credited on the back as Knowland.
Konitz studied/collaborated with Lennie Tristano. Frank Stella called one of his Black Paintings Requiem (Tristano). Requiem is a blues Tristano did in honor of Charlie Parker.
