I ate a turkey sandwich in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

Next I went back to Mass Moca to see The Believers again... and Erik van Lieshout. Mass Moca is great... the ride was so nice today, the air smelled so fresh and green.

I lucked out because Spencer Finch is installing his big upcoming show and I got to meet him...

Surfing the Hoosick??? This was a surprise on the way back... they found a little hole to play in.

Murder, She Painted

Aaargh, I'm too slow. NYC artist/novelist Jonathan Santlofer has written a fictionalized account of a murder among the Irascibles.

My longtime screenplay idea is similar; a murder mystery set in the NY artworld of the fifties, featuring Grandma Moses as the common-sense folksy granny navigating her way through it all and solving the crime. It was to be called Murder, She Painted.

Grandma Moses. Other favorites are Spring Snow, Thunderstorm, Hoosick Falls In Winter, Hoosick River In Winter, and Rainbow (her last one). Actually, I like almost all of them.
