Anonymous said...: Martin you have managed once again to find something in the real world that is more interesting, bizarre, and complicated, than most paintings currently being made. It is really cool how the fence and various atmospheric and environmental conditions and factors, have begun to destroy the poster. The black striations formed by the stockade fencing beneath the poster are in and of themselves arresting forms. The Thing was a childhood hero of mine. I used to draw entire landscapes, usually extraterrestrial ones that would consist entirely of jigsaw puzzle piece like rocks. In fact, that was the only way that I knew how to portray rocks and rocky surfaces at that point in my life.; 4/30/2008 9:13 AM
